ANDREW HADLEY

ARCHITECT PRINCIPAL

Andrew Hadley began his own architectural design business in Crested Butte in 1993 as part of Fall Line Design Group, LLC, a design/build firm. After gaining valuable knowledge of the construction business which has helped him throughout his career, he started his own firm in 1996 to focus solely on design. While his style has evolved over his 26 years of practicing in the field, his goal to produce beautiful, sustainable architecture is still the same.

Andrew is a very active member of the Crested Butte Community. He has been a volunteer DJ at KBUT since his arrival in Crested Butte. You can still hear him hosting “The Friday Night Fish Fry” every Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm whether you are in the valley or streaming online. He has acted in many Crested Butte Mountain Theatre plays over the years from serious dramatic roles to hilarious comedic parts.  Presently Andrew is a board member of The Crested Butte Mountain Theatre.  He was previously on The Trailhead Children’s Museum’s board and has volunteered for many other local organizations including CBCS, CB Mountain Bike Association, and The Center for the Arts.  Andrew also helped start the West Elk Warriors lacrosse team and he is currently coaching the U12 boys.

Andrew can often be found skiing the mountain or riding his mountain bike on one of our fabulous local trails.  He has spent many a summer evening playing softball in the Town league and loves going on river trips around Colorado,Utah or wherever the wild rivers lead him. Basically Andrew loves this amazing paradise we call home, and he injects all the same enthusiasm into his life here as he does into his architecture.

Education
Bachelor of Architecture, Tulane University, 1993

SUZANNE HADLEY

ADMINSTRATION

Suzanne moved to Crested Butte in May of 1993 from New York. Going from working in Manhattan to landing in Crested Butte during the off-season was a real change for her, but while she still loves visiting the big city, CB is where she feels at home. Suzanne has been a part of AHA from its inception, but she has also held several other jobs in CB while working part time at AHA. These include being a Realtor, managing The Crested Butte Mountain Theatre, and being a mom to their two children.

Suzanne has volunteered for many organizations in Crested Butte over the years, including Crested Butte Society for the Arts, CB Mountain Theatre, The Center for the Arts, The Nordic Council (for the Alley Loop), CB Film Festival, CB Mountain Bike Association, The Trailhead Children’s Museum, CB School of Dance, GCSAPP’s Choice Pass program, CB Devo, CB Community School PTA, and the Fund 26 Committee for the RE1J School District.

Like most Buttians she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing (Nordic and downhill), and basically almost anything outside in this beautiful natural playground. Throw in book club, going to plays and movies, and hanging out with her friends and family and you’ve pretty much summed up the great lifestyle she is able to have in CB. One of Suzanne’s favorite things about living here is that her town bike is her main means of transportation.
